Dr Steven Mallett is the Veterinary Director of the VetLove veterinary practice located at Goonellabah, NSW.

Before joining VetLove, Steve was employed as a Research Veterinarian, leading and conducting Pre-Clinical Trials to assist with the registration of new veterinary medicines with the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA). Steven has 6 years’ experience in the conduct and management of palatability and digestibility trials with dogs and cats.

Identifying the lack of opportunities for pet food companies to conduct in-home palatability testing, Steven created Palate Pro in 2023. Steve has a Bachelor of Science Hons (majoring in Zoology and Entomology) and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science Hons.
