I’ve really enjoyed being involved with Palate Pro and participating in their pet food trials with both our cat and dog. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to research and product development while providing honest feedback on the foods being tested.

The process is straightforward and well organised, with all food provided and individually portioned. We simply monitor how much our pets eat and submit our feedback online.

It’s lovely knowing that our participation helps contribute to improving pet food products.

It’s been a really positive experience, I’m happy to be involved & recommend Palate Pro to anyone else who interested!

I had a great experience with pallet pro. The in-home trials are incredibly easy to follow and the portal for recording weights and observation is straightforward. They supplied everything you needed from start to finish. It was a win-win, my pets get a free meal and we get generous gifts vouchers and we are helping improve pet food quality. Dr Steve and his team are fantastic to deal with.

Taking part in the Palate Pro pet food feeding trials is interesting and rewarding. The trials are scientifically well planned and the instructions are easy to follow - often using diagrams to make it easier. Everything needed is supplied - food, scales etc.
It’s a great way to give your pets new foods to try - and it’s free!
My cats have participated in several trials - trying a variety of foods.
There is no obligation to complete every trial, so I can choose to miss any if the timing does not suit.

Food trial packs come in easily recognisable packages. Instructions on the feeding portal are easy to follow. The reason for these trials is to evaluate the acceptance or not by my dog means that not every product gains approval from my dog. It is a no hassle food trial, with all trial food provided including bowls and scale to monitor how much of the product was consumed in 30 minutes. I am very happy to be a part of these trials.

I signed up for palate pro trials initially as a way to try out a bunch of different foods for my fussy eater doggo (which has resulted in few new favourite foods and after the trials Dr Steve has happily identified any unlabelled trial foods that were well received).
Overall, excellent experience. Easy to follow instructions. All required equipment provided. A variety of collection options available and Dr Steve is easy to liaise with for any questions or if anything happens that impacts the trial. Dr Steve and the palate pro community clearly care strongly for animals.
Recommend if you're interested in trying out a bunch of different foods with your pet(s).

My experience with Palate Pro has been excellent. The program allows me to trial pet food, both wet and dry, on my dog and cat.
Easy to follow instructions and support is always available if required. Points are accrued for each trial, which you can choose to use on vet bills or gift it to another pet in need.
Everything you need to participate is supplied.
I am grateful to be a part of this pet food testing and research program.

I have done a number of Palate Pro Trials with 3 of my dogs & my cat. I have found the food & trials excellent & have found what my pet tastes are & what they enjoy the best. The trials have allowed me to expand my pets food options, learning what they enjoy eating & what is nutritionally good for them.
